Why men like women in red

It is known that the ladies in the red are attractive to men. A new study suggests that the reason is in men's nature and instincts. In fact, scientists say that the fact that men want to get closer to 'the woman in the red' can be explained by evolution.

The researchers worked with two groups of men, and some of participants in a group was shown a photo of a woman in red and the other a woman in a blue dress.

After they were told to write what would they like to ask the woman in the picture, it turned out that the issue of the first group, designed for a woman in a red, was a lot of fun and more provocative. In the second test than men were asked to place a chair next to their own, as they would put it in order to talk with the woman on the photography. The group, which saw a lady in red dress set a chair much closer than those who had the image of women in blue.

'The woman who has a red dress or skirt will be irresistible to man. Also, women who correspond with men over the Internet should put their photo on which they are dressed in red" says Nista Kaiser from the University of' Rochester in New York.

The fact that men have a desire to be closer to the women in red, is explained by natural instincts. For example, the red color in the animal world means the period when the most fertile female, and female baboons or chimpanzees are obviously very flushed at the time of their ovulation.

Lose weight on the right places

With diet we not lose only weight, but it also affects on the beauty of the skin, especially on the chest, and they are especially sensitive to changes in the body. With rigorous diets in your twenties to the thirties breasts may look a lot older than they are. Strength of the breast skin depends mainly on collagen and elastin - proteins that make up the connective tissue responsible for 'holding' skin. This connective tissue extends in parallel with increasing body surface.

So, when you get or lose weight, so does your skin stretches and narrows along with the surface of the body. Since any gain or weight loss first affects the 'female' parts - breasts and hips, skin on those areas is most under stress if you lose or get pounds too fast.

With constant expansion and shrinkage the skin becomes like a worn-out clothes - loses its elasticity, shrivels up and stretched to forever. Therefore, your breasts might soon cease to defy gravity and expose you to express diets where you lose more than two pounds a week.

In addition, rapidly lost weight will come back as fast and, thus starting the process is tightening and relaxing, and it is very negative for the breast tissue.

How to lose weight, but not your feminine attributes?
Instead of carbohydrates on the plate you should include large amounts of fruits, vegetables and white meat. Also, do not skip meals because this slows down your metabolism, which affects the rapid recovery of your weight. And so the process will be even more successful and healthier - engage in physical activity.

So you will tighten the skin and muscles and prevent the return of pounds, and your attributes will maintain strength and youthfulness for a long time.

The kidnapping crisis

Many people would be surprised to learn how often executive kidnappings occur in the United States. Bank branch managers and their families are at particular risk. Each year, the FBI investigates 350 to 400 domestic kidnappings, with ransom involved in one- third of the cases. Fortunately, executives kidnapped in the United States can count on the FBI and local police working on their behalf. This is not so if you are kidnapped abroad. In some foreign countries, the local and state police may be your kidnappers. To keep the dream of foreign travel from becoming a nightmare,
Assurex recommends employers put expatriate employees through a rigorous training program designed to help them assess the local cultural and political situation. In addition, employees should be taught what to do, and not to do, in the event they are kidnapped. Let employees know what type of action the company will take to secure their release. Inform employees it could take months to free them. Stress that victims should always leave negotiations to the security consultants and insurance professionals hired to handle the situation.

World War II Bomber-Dogs

During the Blitzkrieg campaign in the Second World War, Russians idea was to train the dogs to carry bombs under the German tanks, because the tanks were too fast and too powerful for Russian military. The trainers would train them to find a food under the tank after they starve the dogs first.
The only problem was that dogs trained under the Soviet tanks and not the loud German diesel tanks, but still they managed to destroy 300 tanks. Those dogs were the real Suicide Bombers.

A fish with hands

Fishes are strange enough as they are, but what is even stranger are fishes with hands? It's so weird. The pink handfish, as it is called, is a part of the handfish family, and is last seen in 1999. It is now one of the newly named species of the handfishes, among nine others. This very odd fish doesn’t swim, and that explains why it’s located at the bottom of the ocean.
It uses its “hands” that are supposed to be fins, to walk around. Tasmania, an Australian island, is the place where the nine fishes have been found, to be completely precise, around the city of Hobart. It is probably the place to be for a handfish, because all the 14 species of this kind are found nearby southeastern Australia. The little pink creature is only 4 inch large (10 cm), and the scientists don’t know that much about its behavior because it has been poorly studied. Speaking of strange fishes, here is one that is considered as the ugliest sea creature – the Sea Pig.

Educated people age slower

Socioeconomic status is already known factor that affects health, but new research has proven that the reason is not only better finance, but the information you provide to make better decisions. Less educated people age faster as some results show by a new British study, which included 400 men and women.

Evidence from DNA suggest that the aging of cells is evident in adults who don't have higher educational qualifications in comparison with those with a university degree.

The link between health and socioeconomic status is well known. People from the poorer strata of society in average are more smokers, they are less recreate and have a more difficult access to quality health care.

A new study shows that education could be more important factor that influences the long-term health of an individual of his income or social status because it allows making better decisions.

The same study found that people with higher qualifications are exposed to less stress, or better tolerate it.

Biggest insects-Belostomatidae

Belostomatidae is a family of insects better known as "giant water bugs" or "toe-biters." Most species in the Belostomatidae family are relatively large (2 cm or more) with some of the largest, such as Lethocerus, exceeding 12 cm, and nearly reaching the dimensions (length and mass) of some of the larger beetles in the world.

All bugs in the Belostomatidae family are fierce predators which stalk, capture and feed on aquatic crustaceans, fish and amphibians. They often lie motionless at the bottom of a body of water, attached to various objects, where they wait for prey to come near. They then strike, injecting a powerful digestive saliva and suck out the liquefied remains.
Their bite is considered one of the most painful that can be inflicted by any insect. The saliva liquefies muscle tissue. In rare instances, their bite can do permanent damage to humans. Occasionally when encountered by a larger predator, such as a human, they have been known to "play dead" and emit a fluid from their anus to make them look less appetizing. Giant water bugs are a popular food in Thailand.

Largest Ice Caves known to man

There are many ice caves throughout the world, but the Eisriesenwelt Ice Caves in Austria are some of the largest known to man. They are located within the Tennengebirge Mountains near Salzburg and stretch for a remarkable 40 kilometers. Only a portion of the labyrinth is open to tourists but it’s enough to get a taste of what the remaining network is like: a truly mesmerizing palate of Mother Nature’s handicraft.
Ice caves are very different from normal caves. They have a strange feeling about them, as though they are not from this planet, and one has just temporarily stepped into their world when spelunking their depths.

Biggest insects-Giant Camel Spider

When American soldiers aren't worrying about insurgents and IEDs, they have to keep an eye out for Giant Camel Spiders. Iraq's Giant Camel Spiders have even been found hiding in sleeping bags. Fortunately, the giant desert camel spiders native to Iraq aren't venomous. But they are FAST. Giant Camel Spiders have been known to run around 10 MPH. Although most Camel Spiders are about the size of a credit card, they have been know to grow larger than 10 inches, especially in the deserts of the Middle East.
The above photo was taken in the desert area outside of Baghdad. The 2 camel spiders were in a fight to the death. The spider on the bottom has his fangs locked on the torso of the spider above. The image below is of a U.S. solider stationed outside of Kuwait. He was bitten by a Camel Spider in his sleep. The infected wound was so bad doctors couldn't stitch it up. They had to leave it open to drain and heal from the inside out. The bitten soldier now has a scar the size of a penny on his elbow. Camel Spiders are common in the Middle East, but they can also be found in the southwest U.S. and Mexico. The Mexican's call Camel Spiders matevenados, which translates to"deer killers" in English.

Westminster Abbey and Cathedral

Westminster Abbey and Westminster Cathedral are often confused with eachother. Westminster Abbey is an Anglican Church. Westminster Cathedral is a Roman Catholic Church, situated about 400 m (437 yd) west of the Abbey. The Cathedral site was reclaimed by the Benedictine monks who were the builders of Westminster Abbey and used as a market. In the 17th Century the land was sold by the Abbey for the construction of a prison. The Catholic Church acquired the site in 1884. Building on Westminster Cathedral started in 1903 and the Church was consecrated in 1910.

The oldest bodybuilder

Britain Charles hated exercise all his life. In his eighties he decided he could start bodybuilding and is now the proud owner of a great number of medals. Charles Eugster is a retired dentist who is in his 91 year competing in bodybuilding and has so far won three gold medals at the World Championships in fitness.

Interestingly, most of his life Charles has hated exercise and only in the 50's began to swim after which he won a bunch of medals in rowing. Later even that was not enough, so he began to lift weights.

He said that he hated practicing at school. When he got married, his wife was not interested in exercising, so he adapt himself.

He went in the gym three times a week and exercise for an hour and a half. He is holding a high-protein diet and eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Most importantly, he feels better than ever.

The first Olympic games

The first Olympic games were held in 776BC. After that, it held every 4 years until 339BC. The first Olympic race was won by Corubus, a chef. For many years the Olympics consisted of only one race, a sprint of 192 meters (210 yards) called the “stadion.” A second race of 400 meters was added 50 years later. The pentathlon, boxing, wrestling, single-horse and four-horse chariot races were included later still. There also was a special event in which runners competed in hoplite armor, shield, helmet, and graves that weighed 20-25 kg (50-60 lbs). There were no team events, relay races or the long distance race of Marathon. These events were introduced in the modern Olympics. No medals were awarded in the ancient Olympics. A winner received an olive wreath to wear on his head. Second and third placings received nothing. When the Olympics were revived in 1896 in Athens, Greece, winners received silver medals instead of gold medals. Eight years later, at the 1904 Games in St. Louis, gold replaced silver for first place.

How can you detect a liar

You suspect that your spouse is cheating on you? You think that your boss is intentionally prolonging the long-awaited promotion? You are convinced that your friend is avoiding you for some reason? These are the questions that are in our head from time to time, and because of that here are few tips that can help you discover if someone is lying to you.

Dr. Paul Seager, a psychologist at the University of Lancaster, in his book Would I lie to you? he reveals how people lied and he broke some of the common myths about lying. Here are a few of his tips that can help you to easily identify liars in your environment, but also to stop believing in myths about identifying lies.

EYE CONTACT
The biggest myth about lying is that people who lie avoid looking directly into your eyes. Good liars actually look right in the eye longer and harder than someone who does not lie, because they know that people believe that liars avoid a direct eye contact.

ANXIETY
Another myth states that a person that is lying shows great discomfort, and is constantly fidgeting. The opposite is true. When someone has to invent a lie, he eliminates all the attention from the body and directs it to the brain. The result is an unusually calm liar, and much calmer person than it really should be in that situation.

WATCHING UP AND RIGHT
The third myth is that the person that is lying is usually fixed on some view point. This is not confirmed by any investigation. It is believed that when our view is going up or down and left or right, we actually dig in our memory and then we are telling the truth. However, our sentences are involving different types of memories that stimulate different parts of the brain. So Dr. Seager believes that it is a myth as well.

TON OF THE VOICE
When a person is lying, its voice becomes slightly higher. Scientists believe that a slightly higher voice than usual is a sign that those people are most likely lying. The problem is that it is very difficult to see. If it comes to people you know, then you can see if their voice changes the color when you ask awkward questions. If it is a bit high, it is most likely that it is the someone who really lies.

BOMBING ISSUES
When a some person lies, it must concentrate on the story, and this usually results in easy answers. If you want to catch a person in a lie, let him tell you what he intended, and then start with a series of questions on it. If that person lies, his answers will be quite vague and they will lack in details.

RETELLING BACKWARDS
This is a technique often used by police officers. They will ask someone to explain their version of a particular event. Then they will request that person to explain that again, but this time start from the end. If someone lies, it will be very difficult and it is most likely that a person will become confused.

SPEED OF THE RESPONSE
Experts call this latent period of reaction time, and this is the time it takes a person to answer the question. If someone is lying, it will invest a lot of effort to come up with a lie, and for that is needed some time. Then it comes to a short pause between the set of questions and answers.

VERBAL SIGNS
If you think your partner is cheating on you, you should ask him a direct question: Are you cheating on me? It is important to listen carefully to the answer. If answer is: No, of course not, you can somewhat be sure that your partner is telling the truth. However, if the answer to your question is: How can you ask me that? How long we know each other? I am shocked at the moment... it will be suspicious. Namely, it is typical to avoid the true answer and the person who says it is most likely lying.

BEHAVIOR CHANGE
If you talk to someone who is relaxed and calm, you can determine what is its normal behavior, or what it is in a normal circumstances. When you set it a specific question and it suddenly change behavior, you can be sure that something suspicious is going on.

Carmen Dell Orefice is the oldest model that even in the age of eighty do catwalk. She is the living proof that age and beauty go together.

The 80 years old model certainly sounds like a fashion oxymoron. But style icon Carmen Dell Orefice, the oldest active model, showed that doing catwalk at that age is not only possible but also wonderfully beautiful.

This fashion veteran, which celebrated her 80th birthday, shot her first cover for Vogue in 1947, when she was only 15. She posed to the most famous photographers such as Richard Avendon, Irving Penn, Cecil Biton, Norman Perkinson. And while many of hers peers are mainly walking with sticks, elegant and timeless Carmen continues her catwalks. With its height of 178 centimeters, ready-made number 38 and sit distinctive curls, she worked for John Galliano fashion show, Ermelo and this year Alberta Ferretti models at Milan's Fashion Week.

Carmen Dell Orefice was the Italian-Hungarian origin. Due to frequent termination of her parents she lived in foster homes, but in 1942. year she and her mother settled in New York. When she was 13, in a bus in which she went to ballet, she was noticed by a wife of a famous photographer Herman Landshopha. Her sample pictures that were done by Jones Beach were her tickets for Vogue, with whom she signed a contract of 7.50 dollars per hour in 1946. She appeared on the cover of Vogue in October 1947, as the youngest model ever in this journal. In December, she was already photographed as Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White and Cinderella in the company of supermodel Dorian Leigh, and actors Ray Boljera and Jose Ferrer.

She became the world famous in 1960. when she was photographed for the cover of Harpers Bazaar by Melvin Sokolski. Photo titled Las Meninas Carmen became famous among the numerous collections of photos. Carmen was the muse of Salvador Dali. She married three times and has a daughter Laura, who is a psychologist. She is not planning to retire yet.

Despite her early success, the famous model agent Eileen Ford did not want to represent her, and then Vogue lost interest in her. Carmen then began working other catalogs, earning 300 dollars per hour. In the world of modeling she re-entered in 1953. when she joined the agency Ford. And she never lived it after that. In his 66 years long career she was on the six Vogue's home pages, and she was the main face of a 14 cosmetic campaigns.

Dell Orefice has become a symbol of strength and courage in the world of fashion, which has forever captivated photographers, illustrators and designers with her posture and elegance. Carmen is all that in itself should carry any supermodel.

And she? She does not have intention to stop working. She do not care about no one's ideas how to look or how she should feel at this age. The retire is the word that she can not visualize. Carmen Dell Orefice once said that she retire when she go to bed. In a world obsessed with youth and beauty, Carmen Dell Orefice is a welcome reminder that those two do not necessarily have to be connected.

A killer whale, or orca, can be more than 15 feet in length upon maturity. It can have about 40 to 60 teeth with these teeth being up to three inches long and one inch in diameter. These teeth will have a great deal of food each day because a whale can eat about 5 % of its weight per day. Like all the whales, orcas also use echolocation to locate their pray by sending echo waves and waiting for the sound to bounce back from the object. Interesting fact about killer whales is that female usually outnumber males and they are the dominant figure in the pod.

The fastest muscle in your body is the muscle that lets your eye blink. It allows you to blink 5 times a second. On average, you blink 15 000 times a day. That’s about 10 times per minute, or more than five million times a year. Women blink more than men. Jean-Dominique Bauby, a French journalist suffering from “locked-in” syndrome, wrote the book “The Driving Bell and the Butterfly” by blinking his left eyelid – the only part of his body that could move. Animals blink too, of course. Some bird species, usually flightless birds, have only a lower eyelid, whereas pigeons use upper and lower lids to blink. Fish and insects do not have eyelids – their eyes are protected by a hardened lens. To care for your eyes, eat carrots. They really do make you see better. Vitamin A is known to prevent “night blindness,” and carrots are loaded with Vitamin A. Deficiency of Vitamin A actually is a significant world problem, comparable to that of protein deficiency and second only to caloric deficiency.

A Galaxy Game, launched in September 1971 by Bill Pitts and Hugh Tuck, was the first coin-operated video arcade game. It was beaten to the commercial market by Computer Space, launched two months later by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney. Bushnell launched PONG for his Atari company in November 1972. It would become the first significantly successful coin-operated video arcade game. Atari would continue with releases, including the famous Asteroids shooting game.

First recovery from HIV!

A group of German scientists claims to be the first ones who fully cured person that was infected by HIV.

In fact, as it's published in the medical journal, Blood doctors from medical university in Berlin have successfully cured a man who was suffering from leukemia.

First, the radiation destroyed his defense mechanism so that he could receive the bone marrow from some donor. This is a 44-year-old American, Timothy Ray Brown who was infected by HIV from 1995 year to the 2006, and had leukemia.

After 38 months of taking medication so his stem cells would not be rejected, tests have shown that the HIV virus is gone.

However, doctors point out that the entire treatment is extremely difficult because it deliberately destroys the immunity composition and could not be applied to every patient with HIV.

The Truth About The Pigs

Did you know that the pig is rated the fourth most intelligent animal? Pigs are part of the order artidactyla. There are more than 180 species of pigs, found on every continent except Antarctica. They come in just about any size and color, have an average lifespan of 20 years and litters from 2 to 12 piglets. Pigs are often thought to be dirty, but actually keep themselves cleaner than most pets. They are seen laying in mud because they do not have sweat glands and constantly need water or mud to cool off.

Three Hearts and Tentacles

Do you know that an Octopus can squeeze through a hole the size of a coin? To be even weirder, this creature has three hearts. The largest one, named Octopus dofleini, can weighs about 15kg. Hapalochlaena has enough venom in one bite to kill an adult human. They have two tentacles for walking and six remain free. This makes them look like an armed vehicle.

Dog Tricks Cleaning Services

After the clip appeared on YouTube with a two dogs collecting garbage on a French fair, and dressed in vests of municipal workers, these pets have become a worldwide hit.

The video can be seen two Boston Terrier, Neo and Taksidi in fluorescent jackets, pushing small carts and put in them discarded trash from the street.

These international stars are not just municipal workers. Their owners have decided that, apart from collecting garbage, their dogs should have known many other things.

So, they made of them currently the most popular terriers on the internet!

Suicide Birds in India

In North Eastern part of India birds commit suicide! It all happens in a 1.5 km long and around 200 meters wide strip of field area. They are maybe not suicidal since their behavior may be attributed to heavy rains and floods and submergence of their natural habitat. The local villagers light torches which attract the birds and then strike violently with bamboo pole to kill and eat them. If the causes of this mystery is not found very soon we may certainly lose some of the most precious species of our feathered friends. The phenomenon not only deserves to be made known worldwide, but it deserves deeper scientific studies.

Detection of the future criminals

U.S. scientists have discovered that by looking at the brain of a three-years old child can detect whether it have a criminal tendencies. The origins of crime and antisocial behavior can be found in children as young as only three years old, according to a criminal psychologist Adrian Raine and Nathalie Fontaine.

By this conclusion they reached by studying the brain scans in children after compare that with their subsequent behavior. Studies have shown that psychopaths and criminals have developed different parts of the brain that are associated with the behavior, guilt and empathy.

"By identifying these types of antisocial behavior and the with proper approach would prevent criminal behavior, " explains Raine and Fontaine.

Their research showed that punishment of children did not show significant improvement. Results are achieved only by hard work, counseling with troubled children, as well as praise for the breakthrough achieved. Progress was also demonstrated by those who were taking food and medicine rich with Omega 3 fatty acids.

The study was conducted at nine thousand twins whose development was followed over several years.

Scientists hope to be able to begin soon to implement to identify individual children from troubled families, but the question is how to protect these children from other types of marking from their childhood.

Longest bridges in the world

The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway in New Orleans is the longest bridge in the world over a body of water, with a total length of 38,6 km (24 miles). It was completed in 1956. The Bang Na Expressway in Bankok, Thailand is even longer, at 54 km (33.5 miles), but mostly is an elevated highway. However, they are soon to be outdone by the 79.6 km Xian-Zhengzhou high speed railway bridge being built in China. It will be known as the Wei River Bridge. The most expensive bridge is the Seto-Ohashi-Kojima bridge in Japan. At 13,22 km (8,21 miles) long, it was built in 1988 at a cost of $8.3 billion. The world’s largest natural bridge is the Rainbow Bridge, tucked away among the rugged, isolated canyons at the base of Navajo Mountain, Utah, USA. It is a natural wonder. From its base to the top of the arch, it reaches 88,4 m (290 ft) – nearly the height of the Statue of Liberty – and spans 83,8 m (275 ft) across the river. The top of the arch is 12,8 m (42 ft) thick and 10 m (33 ft) wide.

Underwater Wedding

Unusual underwater wedding of a couple from Mexico was held in Cancun. A good luck with them divided over two hundred people at a depth of five meters.

Alberto Dal Lago (41) and Karl Munuia (43) have decided to get married underwater. With this step, they like to point out the vulnerability of sharks. Alberto and Karl exchanged rings, signaled their vows and kissed each other before they emerged to the surface.

Alberto, diving instructor, and Karl, a real estate agent, met during a joint dive and realized that they share the same passion. Alberto said he was attracted by a woman who loves the sea and shares his love for sharks.

On the wedding was invited over 300 guests from South Africa, Egypt, Brazil, France and Italy. But only 205 of them could attend the underwater wedding, so this pair is not broke the record for number of guests on an underwater wedding. Italian couple owns the record with 261 guests, as reports the Telegraph.

Sharks have become endangered due to the large catches and changes in their ecosystem caused by human activities. According to the International Union for the preservation of nature, 50 of the 300 species of sharks are classified as vulnerable, endangered or critically endangered.

Future of sex: Ctrl+Shift+O

In the future we will have the option of carrying electronic devices on our skin that can capture the signals of our nervous during sex composition and allow us later to repeat again that perceptible experience, says futurologist Ian Pearson.

Pearson describes the future (around the 2030. year), in which sensors will be sophisticated enough to detect and map the collection of certain incentives that create sensual experiences - whether someone is shaking hands with you, hug you or make love with you, as the Wired magazine reported.

The idea is that by stimulating the nervous band in full in the same way - the appropriate pressure, heat and motion - can recreate the experience. People could use this kind of technology when they are separated from their partners or, what is more likely, when they do not have a partner.

Moreover, Pearson believes that in the future we will be able to implant a chip in the brain that could be able to recreate the sensations. He explained that it could be as easy as pressing Ctrl+Shift+O for an orgasm.

If you have the ability to map and record feelings, then you can separate them from physical activity. This means that you could experience the feeling of having sex just by touching a device.

It's like in the words of Morpheus from the Matrix movie trilogy: If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then real is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.

But Pearson has warned that if we lose the connection between physical activity and pleasure, we can completely forget about the side that refers to loving relationships.

Pearson will speak abut the future of sex, a sleep, and play at the If conference , which is held at the Royal Geographical Society in London.

The history of tea

Tea is the most-consumed beverage on the planet. It was perhaps first referred to in the Epic of Gilgamesh. It is thought that Gilgamesh was told by Utnapishtim, a man who became a god, that on his ship he poured tea as a libation for the gods as appreciation for his deliverance, and that in smelling the tea’s sweet aroma the gods gathered around. Shen Nung, the second emperor of China, was said to be a creative scientist. One of his edicts required that all drinking water be boiled as a hygienic precaution. In 2737 BC, it is told, some tea leaves accidentally blew into a pot of boiling water that Shen Nung had ordered. The first European to encounter tea was the Portuguese Jesuit Jasper de Cruz in 1560 but tea was introduced to Europe by the Dutch in the 17th century and was brought to the United States by Peter Stuyvesant in 1650. The first mention of tea in England was made in 1658 by coffee house owner Thomas Garaway, referring to Chinese Tea. It is thought that the concept of afternoon tea was introduced around 1840 by Anna, Duchess of Bedford. Ice tea was introduced in 1904 at the World’s Fair in St. Louis.

Russian hockey mass fight

It was only the sixth second of the game when fighting has already begun. Almost no one was left aside. At the start of the match between Russian hockey club Avangard and Vityaz, all of the players immediately headed fighting.

Vityaz started first and administration of Vanguard charges that the attack was planned long before the game. There was at least three separate fights, in a period of several minutes, and the judges were hardly able to separate the angry players on time.

Players of the same two clubs have already fought earlier that year, and even then Vityaz has started first, even they got it through without significant penalties.

This time, the administration of Vanguard is seeking for a lifetime suspension of Vityaz management and the players who participated in the general beating.

You can see that fight in the attached video clip.

The largest solar boat

While the representatives of 190 countries at a conference in Cancun are trying to solve the problem of global warming, in the Gulf of Mexico has entered the largest solar boat in the world. The saying is true: " Where there's a Will, there's a way."

31 meters long and 15 meters wide motor boat powers an electric voltage that was collected using 500 square meters of solar panels. About 20 kW is sufficient for this solar boat to reach a speed of 8 knots (15km / h), and its 38,000 photo cells have efficiency of 22%, so you can generate 103.4 kW solar power.

Raphael Domian, Swiss, and Gerard d'Avovilj, a Frenchman, are responsible for this achievement and believe that it will become the fastest boat that crossed the planet. "Sun Power" weights 60 tons and it's built in Kiel, Germany. The project has cost 16 million euros.

"We have forgotten how this transport can be clean, ships are the most commonly used as a means of transporting goods, and total emissions carbon dioxide participates 6%, which is twice as much as aviation transportation," said Team Planet Solara.

Giant crabs in Antarctic

In the depths of Antarctica, there are a giant royal crabs, whose range of legs reaches more than one meter. All of this happens due the climate changes. The scientists have predicted this, but only for a hundred years from now.

Wherever these crabs go, they destroy an ecosystem that evolved 14 million years. Sounds like a horror movie plot, but in fact it is a natural phenomenon that is currently taking place. Around one million crab invasion was performed in almost all of Palmer Peninsula, at depths of 950 to 1,400 meters.

Video-recording made with a remotely operated submersible showed that specimens of species Neolithodes yaldwyni already settled parts of the Antarctic Peninsula. Records reveal that they use tips of their long crab legs to dig and tumble the sensitive sediments.

Craig Smith from the University Hawaii at Manoa said that this will probably change the processes of deposition of sediments, which will then affect the diversity of animal communities living in those sediments.

It seems that these crabs have too big appetite. In areas that are occupied they have already vanished sea urchins, sea cucumbers, sea lilies and stars, a number of different species that survived even the four times smaller than usual.

The problem is that existing marine organisms do not have any protection from these crabs. Their shells are fragile and simply never had to deal with a large armored crabs, as says professor of polar and marine biology Meklintok James.

Scientists suspect that the crabs arrived with warmer currents. In 1982, the lowest temperature in the area were about 1.2 C, which is too cold for them. However, until last year it rose to 1.47 C.

The higher parts of the Southern Ocean are cooler due to the influx of cold water resulting melting ice sheet, however, scientists predict that in twenty years could be enough to heat and therefore settle crabs on numerous shallower areas.

What is the solution for this problem? Craig Smith says that we definitely need to slow down global warming as soon as possible!

Electronic cigarette looks like a real one, it has the same taste and it is far less harmful than a real one. Its use is growing in Germany.

The so-called e-cigarette is an artificial plastic cigarette that looks like a toy or a joke item. It consists of three parts: a small battery, a tube in which is the liquid and electronic dispensers.

Where the real cigarette has embers, when you take a smoke with an e-cigarette a small LED shines because there is no smoke. Each time the liquid evaporates. When smoking, small clouds are coming out of the mouth, as with the real cigarettes, but you does not feel the smoke, because there is no smoke but there is vapor instead.

It do not burn harmful tobacco, but it evaporates liquid consisting of water, propylene glycol, nicotine concentrates of different strengths. In order to achieve smoker's enjoyment as realistic as possible, this liquid is enriched with a variety of flavors that mimic the distinctive taste of tobacco. If desired, in the fluid can be added other flavors such as peppermint, vanilla or chocolate.

Internet or sleeping

Where do you think we spend more time... by sitting in front of our computers and searching on the Internet or in our bed in a deep sleep.

New research suggests that one in four people spend more time online than in bed.

Sky Broadband company that conducted the study reported that because more people are sick of the so-called e-anxiety syndrome. Those people panic, or even fall into depression when they are not able to check their email or Facebook account.

It has been proven that men spend more time online than women. In particular, one of the four men a day spends six or more hours at the computer, while one in five women spends as much time on the Internet. One of three people a day is checking email more than 6 times.

It is particularly bad that people spend more time at the computer and less time to walking, socializing with friends and family, but also for a quality sleep.

Solar storm of century?

The issue of disaster caused by a solar storms is not a question of possibility, but a matter of time. By most accounts, the timeframe is shrinking, and the question that logically arises is, are we ready for the consequences?

One of the biggest disaster that would be able to face mankind, 18 hours after the Sun ejected plasma ball weighing about 10 billion tons - something that it did before and something that will definitely do many more times.

When the ejected mass of coronally crashes into Earth, the current across the global network would increase rapidly. Transformers would be destroyed, they would have no lights, that would spoil food to us, and as a result of shortages, the complete composition of public transport would collapse.

Multiple Chernobyl
Within a few weeks extra generators in nuclear power plants would be shut down, and electric pumps that cool the reactors would stop. The result - a multiple reactor core meltdown. Energy expert in the power grid vulnerability to the impacts from space, John Kappenman says that it would be like 30 Chernobyls throughout the U.S, as popsci.com reports.

Scientists categorized mentioned catastrophic solar storm as highly consequential event of rare occurrence. Many scientists who study space weather events point out that the Earth will soon undergo just such a storm. Although these storms can strike at any time, usually they are associated with the peak of the 11-year cycle of sunspots. The next cycle is the culmination of the 2013. year.

Timely forecast
What should we do then? First, we should do is as accurately forecast for the possible impact of solar storms. Second, the power grid would have to be closed for a few hours and at a very large area, which requires great coordination. To reduce the loss of money due to shutdown the network, the prognosis would have to be very accurate.

Last September, NASA scientists announced the Solar Shield program to monitor solar eruptions and solar storms predicted. While this is a good step in preventing disasters, it relies on the satellite launched in 1997 and which was designed to operate at only five years.
